when I'm playing FO3 I can't see 5ft infront of my charecter sometimes I'll be walking and all of a sudden road spawn under me so I'm wondering is this caused by low FPS and what are some mods to increase my FPS?

Also, are you using any mods that might decrease FPS? It could be worthwhile to remove some of those.

Not necessarily, that's just a setting in your options. You probably have your Object fade setting too low. Though if you're just using the settings that the game gave you when you first started it up, that could mean that your computer just isn't powerful enough to run the game properly. There's a number of things that you can cut back on though, and get more object view instead.

I just downloaded it without incident.

Truly it is the best fix of this and oblivion - get that file - first things first.
