Thieves Guild Fences (dealers)

While I am making threads for old mods I have released, I thought that I might as well include this one. This mod hit off fairly well for one of my first released mods...

Here's the description
First, let me clear something up. Fences are people who deal in stolen and illegal goods (not that thing out in your yard). A la Oblivion Fences

I always thought that Morrowind needed some good Fences in the thieves guild. They had pawnbrokers before but they had almost no barter gold and they wouldn't buy moon sugar or skooma from you.
Now three NPCs have been changed to Fences they have 1000 gold and trade in all items. I also added a "my trade" dialogue just so it would fit better with the rest of Morrowind. The NPCs that have been altered are: Sottilde, Both gro-Durog, and Allding.
I placed Sottilde's code book in a locked box next to her. Added a script and altered some dialogue so that she wouldn't sell it to you and so that the Fighters Guild quest to get the book would still work.


No screenshots for this one.... I think the reason is rather obvious...

Does it conflict with the Less Generic series? because it sounds pretty good but I try to have my game all sorted out

I made this long before I knew about LGNPC. It only alters the NPCs mentioned. If LGNPC alters them, then it may conlflict. Not sure, though I can look into it.

Would it ever be possible for an "item laundering" mod to remove ownership tags from items?

My biggest problem with theft in Morrowind is that I know those tags start appearing and they pile up. Maybe it's mostly psychological, but it does bother me. They serve an essential purpose - we can't have thieves immediately selling back stolen goods - but could there be a workaround?

Although that's beyond the scope of this mod. I can see that being possible. It could maybe be done with MWSE if it could track ID's and then remove the item from the player's inventory and then add back another one which then wouldn't have any extra data attached to it. Or else it could be done with stock scripting by just having the player select which item it is or something.
