Three Dog vs Mr. New Vegas

It's so not cool to like music from the 30s-50s.

Thanks to Fallout 3, it is now.

Prolly should download cds onto your PC or consule to listen to while you play Fallout. This type of music is not going away any time soon

Well as far as I'm concerned they are the real Children of the Cathedral. Just look at the way they sway... :unsure2:

Uh, yeah, Fallout's music could have also been http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAV3bOJaQuY.

Being factitious means I wasn't being genuine, I was jesting. I don't have any issues with the Traditional Pop/Big Band/Jazz of Fallout 1/2/3/NV, or the 50s styled Country of New Vegas; nor do I actually find liking these genres or this particular era of music uncool. I like the 30s-50s era of music much more than I like modern music.

I don't like Butcher Pete, but my feelings about Butcher Pete do not reflect my feelings towards the Traditional Pop genre as a whole.

Mr. New Vegas was better for me, simply because I did not mind him while I was severely annoyed by 3 Dog.

Man, you could've been linking to Led Zep or Miles Davis or Bowie or Floyd or Sabbath or the Pistols or Lee Perry...

...and you go with Hotel California! Bullet meets foot.

Okay folks, Sorry for derailing the thread. I just couldn't resist throwing that out there :hehe:

Anyway, while playing Fallout 3, once I got Three Dog out of the way I was able to listen to GNR again. What bothered me the most about him was the WAYY over the top performance in just about everything that came out of his mouth. Mr. New Vegas on the other hand, was anything but over the top. He was more smooth/suave in his approach on air. if only he was a real person with a quest attached to him, that would've been too cool.

Who here doesn't like Johnny Guitar? I watched helplessly as Jean-Baptiste Cutting vaporized Cass to that song. The music made it seem so real. American Swing came on as I walked over to hack Benny to death.... it just seemed so right. It's funny how the timing seems perfectly. Shame I didn't get I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire when I blew up Megaton.

F:NV music > FO3 music. Strahlende Trompete, Johnny, American Swing, Jingle Jangle Jingle, Heartaches, Big Iron, Love Me, Shadow of the Valley, Hallo Mister X, and Blue Moon (off the top of my head) are great. But.... why does Mr. New Vegas sound 10x louder then his music? Makes it a real pain to listen to him. It's a shame, because I think he's a great character.

I hate that song! My game glitched and that was all Mr. New Vegas played!

I really have on heard Johnny Guitar, Ain't That a Kick in the Hwad and Blue Moon in NV.
