I've always been a fan of the Khajiit race and lore, although my knowledge of such is pretty vague at times. Stuporstar's recent http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=1079985 inspired me to try my hand at some Khajiit-based poetry, in a minor effort at both adding to the lore of the species, but also to create a character that i can hopefully build a full story around at a later date.
I'll update the thread as soon as i finish more writing. Any criticisms regarding the direction, style, technique or relation to the lore or poetry will be most welcome. Please note that i'm a novice when it comes to creative writing!
Thanks, Bacc.

The Claws of Kin
As dark as the void between the stars
While the world slumbers into dreams
As Masser and Secunda reveal the third
The claws of kin gleam unsheathed
There is only one and never two
At least that is what we perceive
The Clan Mother's claws are sharper still
Dare you say we are deceived!

The Rite of the Silent Walker
To Kiergo Rajhin, a debt we owe
For whispering claw, the shadow and wind
The power of the Ring, we ask you to bestow
To lead us true and home to our kin
~~~
Haiku version;
For Whispering Claw,
Shadow and wind we owe him -
Rajhin, guide us true
~~~
The last two are based on the Khajiiti thief-god Rajhin, who's "blessing is most often asked for before undertaking activies of a less-than-lawful nature."
