Starfire NPC additions

I'm 90% certain that the "SC" is SCHedules. As in your, uh, scheduling mod. :) Dunno what the fix is, though. Looks like Rararyn Radarys was yanked outta your game completely, and the game wants him back. If you don't care for him (he's not essential to any quests, ingame or modded, that I can think of), you could probably just comment out those lines in the scripts he's messing with.

I can tell you its not Starfire's. All of Starfire's scripts, leveled lists, and NPC IDs start with "SF_".

It also does not modify or use any of the vanilla NPCs. Try checking Balmora Expanded and see if the scripts start with "SC_".

I did a google search and the error has come up before, but I couldn't find a solution or anyone who stated what mod was causing it.

No it appears it was not Balmora Expanded, just checked. But still thank you, it could have been considering how much Balmora Expanded adds. :)

Then now you can make that 100% sure. :)

Considering that i got that Script StarfireNPCA_day warning i suspected it was related to NPC Additions, good to see it was not...my apologies to StarFire.

The SC_Balmora scripts are indeed part of NPC LCV Schedules, i deleted the Rararyn entries in those scripts. Seeing as LCV places NPCs i can only assume that it does not mess with the things NPCs do in vanilla MW without LCV, so that Rararyn now still functions as is required. I no longer get those warnings, so thank you for pointing out the problem ESP. :)

Severall scripts from NPC Additions get mentioned and a few vanilla ones. I looked at those scripts and none of them seem to call up on NPCs like NPC Additions. So why would these scripts get mentioned? I post here again because a few scripts from NPC Additions got mentioned. (If needed i will make a separate thread.)

@.@ Something does not like Rararyn...and this happens with a new game as well?

I looked through Starfires, LCV, Balmora Expansion, and both MPP1.6.4 and 1.6.5beta. I can't find anything that touches Rararyn (edit: or /his/ greetings). MPP does change Rararyn's name, but it leaves the ID alone. So that shouldn't cause any problems at all.

It sounds like a mod or something removed Rararyn from the game. But the game is still looking for him I guess?

I don't really know why Starfires comes up in the error messages though. :S I'm stumped. Anyone else?

PS.
What is NEDE v1.2.esp? I know I should know what mod that is, but I forgot. ^^"

It is Rockers New Elemental Damage Effects mod.

But for now i will have to wait with solving this problem, because just this morning the computer i play MW on and the likes hat to go to the shop for repairs. So now i am on a old PC, ones my regullar PC is back and i have MW installed again with the same mods i will get back to this problem.

(Although if others like to continue discussing this problem of mine then please feel free to do so. :) )

I have had this problem before. If I remember right, a mod called Annastia modifies Rararyn. The errors you are seeing are from LCV as mentioned above. By deleting the script calls for Rararyn, you eliminate some of the issue, but I think there are some dialogue entries for him in LCV, too. It got to be too big of a headache for me, so I disable LCV. Rararyn may have his health set to 0 by Annastia, I can't remember.

I love this new mod, Starfire. Does the author of Hold It! maintain a different release thread? I am curious if she is going to update the MCA addon for the newest version (6.1) as the old addon is throwing errors.

Great work!

Well i got my PC back yesterday. so in the coming week i will begin to reinstall my games and such...so ones i start installing MW again i can leave out LCV and see whether that will indeed undo those warnings.

I've just updated Hold it ! with a Tamriel Rebuilt addon. NoM and MCA will be next ;)
Will you post the errors you get with the current MCA addon on the Hold it thread? That should save me some time updating to 6.1, thanks!

That archive has two Holdit-Com addons with different modified dates. The dates are pretty obvious but I thought I should let you know.

One suggestion for an improvement to the mod would be to have a little more variety in the equipment lists for for travelling merchants' inventories. They start to feel like "franchised dealers" for the same company, all carrying almost identical wares, except that one may have a different book or a different potion than another.

The NPCs in general seem to fit into the game world much more naturally than the overpowered and over-equipped MCA-spawned ones that I could never get used to. Thanks for the mod.

Are there less npc at night, how about with MCA? Depending on the time of day, does the npc count varie?
