Disabling fast travel?

Is it possible to disable fast travel? Obviously, the 'TMM' only works for the console.

Cheers,

Shadowform.

There's plenty of mods that do just that. Do a search over at TES Nexus.

Download a mod that does it then look over the scripts and see if you can do it.

Although you can always just copy the scripts but make sure you get permission and give proper credit if you release it.

The easiest way to disable fast travel is to not use it.

If you need specific cells to not be able to fast travel from, that is on the cell properties. >World >Cells
If its a map marker, its a property of the map marker. Double-click it in the Render Window.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=26389 puts limits on fast travel, if you enable them in the ini. Perhaps you can take a peek to see how TheNiceOne did it :)

Do you want to disable Fast Travel for a certain period of time (during some quests), from certain locations, or in general?

If you want to do it in general, there are many different ways of doing it. Map Marker Overhaul does it by disabling the mouse button whenever you point at a map marker, and enabling it whenever you move the mouse away again. That works well, but you will of course create a major incompatibility with MMO if you do the same.

There's a very simple way that should be mentioned. You can use the script function EnableFastTravel. Using an argument of 0 disables fast travel, while an argument of 1 enables it.
