Pretty cool, especially since it's the first time a video game song wins a Grammy. Hopefully more will follow in the future. ;)

Far Away from RDR deserves one as well.

But I guess this is a huge step for music in games in general.

I remember trying the Civ IV demo and ended up never getting the game. I never forgot this song though, especially because it seemed so distant from everything I'd heard in a game so far. Not to mention that it felt really fitting for a game that's supposed to summarize the entire world and its civilizations, with all music that is and has been out there.

That's awesome. He totally deserves it.

It's one of my favorite video game songs. He just made history now. :D

Plus, this new version is even more awesome. The choir is even better to hear.

I first played Civ IV at a friend's house.

This song worked it's way into my brain like a worm and implanted itself there. I later bought the game off said friend.

It is one of the best pieces of video game music I've heard.

I suppose one of my only regrets is that Civ V doesn't have it.

I remember when we played hot seat, me and some friends. Most of them made a comment about how catchy of a song it was. Now look how far it has come. Such an amazing song, I liked the warlords expansion menu music a lot as well.
