Fairly mundane story for mine. I just typed the last thing I had heard when it asked me for a name. The last thing I heard was my Mrs in the kitchen, calling through "The kettle is on."
I suppose it's a good job we weren't arguing

I have no idea. At all. I had to chose a new name, and I think I had read something earlier with Fate or Fatality mentioned in it, and it stuck with me. No idea why.

Actually, I've just realized my name probably sounds a little emo. Well, that svcks.

Actually the first thing I thought of when I read your name was Mortal Kombat. :slap:

I believe it was just me wanting to register to ask one or two simple questions, so I quickly took the first word that came to my mind. Why it was Pistolero, I don't know.

I don't remember. I've used many names on the webs lately, so it's hard to even remember what all the names mean and where they came from.
The one I currently use (UberJuntti) is a mix of German and Finnish. Uber (actually spelled über) means Over and Juntti literally means a Jerk or a Moron. So I am the great OverMoron. I was playing a lot of Team Fortress 2 when I started to use the name so that's where the "uber" came from.

When i just got my ps3 i was searching for a new user name cause my old username shadoweye10 sounded a bit to emo.
so on one day i was in the town's library reading about WII prototype planes and saw the flyingpancake http://www.google.nl/images?hl=nl&q=flyingpancake&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&biw=1024&bih=584 and i never lookt back.
so in online games people always call me pancake or pannekoek by my dutch friends.

Mine was the name of my first MW, and later first OB character. Just a made up name, based on the last name of someone I had seen. Rhymes with "eden", although rhyming it with "ayden" is acceptable to :)

It is my personal character's name that I use in WH40k circles.

It should actually be Malacias von Stahlriven but I somehow managed to write Malacath instead... Maybe I played too much Morrowind back then.

About thirtysixish years ago, I managed to convince all the neighborhood cats that I was the bomb. My younger brother gave me the nickname.
Cats love me. Even strange ones. They come up to be petted. Cats have an innate sense of who, and who is not worth the bother.

Heck your forum name is relevant for both morrowind and fallout coincidence?

Yep, coincidence. I had never even heard of Fallout until Bethesda acquired the rights. My name is also relevant to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outlander_%28video_game%29 and there are a few novels with the title. However, I got the idea from Morrowind :)

My name comes from a line in Dune. It's used twice, in two sentences fairly close together. Very obscure reference.
