Forum downtime tonight

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 12:03 pm

We'll be working on some necessary software updates between 7-12 PM EST tonight. During that stretch there will likely be two periods of time where the forums are down. We're estimating it'll be about 15 minutes each time.

During these times, we recommend doing homework or getting started on your taxes.

Oh [censored]. I'd only just got the forum looking normal again.

Next up, the quote button will fly around the screen while a transparent 3D angry smiley that uses all of my CPU's power will be brought in as a replacement fopr the Mod team.

Since I don't make enough money to have to file taxes and am not in school, I'll spend the time finding a new job. feelsbadman

That forum import took longer than expected. There's going to be one more downtime, for about the same time (45mins), probably around 11PM EST.

No. This was purely to rebuild the MySQL server.

You COULD change the Fallout symbol on the forum-down page to a big huge Woolymammoth, to represent Skyrim...

Anyway, thanks for the notification. I'll go do my homework now.

I'm really excited for ElderScrolls.com to get updated with all the new information. 1. I miss the site. 2. It will be a hell of a lot easier to just link people there than digging up a forum/twitter/magazine excerpt for a source of something officially released.
