Patch for 64bit Windows?

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 3:09 am

If I'm not mistaken, MW can't use 4Gb RAM; and there's a patch for it. Does anyone have a link? :)

Thank'ee.

IIRC, but vagely, wasn't that patch conflicting with MPC?

Hmm, as far as I know no, just to be sure apply it after the MCP

This is correct, always run the MCP prior to any other patches, as the MCP will only work on the original .exe, afterwards, you can easily apply the exeoptimizer and the 4gb patch.

That patch doesn't let Morrowind use more than 4GB of RAM. There is no practical way to patch Morrowind to use more than 4GB, you would need to rebuild it from source to be a native 64-bit executable.

Not really RAM, but Virtual Memory.
