Any advice on starting out on these games? Would be much appritiated

Turn combat speed up, it'll bore ya to tears if it isnt at least 3/4.

Especially in Tactics if you play with "Continuous Turn-Based" combat, it's easy to die here so save alot

First of all, start with Fallout 1! Then, as Mako has already stated; crank the combat speed up to highest! This is for Fo1 and 2 only by the way!

If you want it relatively easy, don't dump Intelligence, and take the Gifted trait. Furthermore, try not to play as a rude bastard; things might get a bit tough for you :tongue:
Also bear in mind ammo has weight, and large amounts of ammo can become quite the burden!
Also, complete the first main quest as soon as you can, seeing as if you don't, you have a time limit.

You'll learn by playing, like I did: I spent 5-6 maybe 7 playthroughs doing nothing at all, just roaming and doing side quests. These playthroughs lasted maybe 3-4 hours each :laugh:
