My thinking is that the next Fallout title will be set in NYC... mind you I'm a realtive new fan to the series (did'nt play the original 2 games but have played both FO 3 and NV) so I'm not exactly sure as to the lore and history of NYC in realation to the universe but I can't think of a better location for the next game. I mean there are a ton of historical structures located in just in manhattan (empire state building, brooklyn bridge, statue of liberty, to name a few) that would be great iconic focal points much like the washington mounment / capitol in f03 and the strip in NV..also a subway system the leads out into the other boroughs (i would really like to see a return to subway / tunnel crawling as in f03 to get from location to location..was very evocative and creepy) would be very cool...and just the idea of emerging from a vault or some other underground location into a panorama of a destroyed NYC sends chills down my spine. I also think that Bethedsa should remain true to the original lore of the FO universe so anything that gets in the way of that should come secondary, but again I can't think of a better location than the big apple. I am under the idea that this next FO game will probably be released on this generation on consoles since the majority of what I have been reading is that the new consoles won't arrive from 2013 - 2014 (although I've also heard 2012/2013) with this new engine that they developed for Skyrim..and of course they should bring back Inon Zur to do the soundtrack since he's amazing and the F03 tracks he produced for the game fit every situation perfectly...and imagine some geeked up super mutant running a radio station from 42nd street and 8th ave from some old bombed out loft playing old dusty crusty broadway tunes while he's doing lines of jet from the backside of a skantily clad tribal wench from Staten Island is about the cat's meow for me. also I think beth should make the combat a little bit more fluid /less jerky because i am certain with the new technology (creation engine what not) f0 could be just as smooth as boderlands in terms of being a shooter without giving up being first and foremost a RPG (which it should always be)..thanks for reading this any comments appreciated peace
