hey, i'm looking for a extremely awkward mod,

i'm thinking of makign a machinima, but the tihng is, the flying camers (TFC) moves so damn fast it's hard to make it look good!

any mods that make it optional to moves fast or slow?

I would like to know of a mod that makes it move faster. It takes forever if you want to fly above Tamriel to take a nice aerial shot, which I have only tried to do once because it got on my nerves eventually, heheh...

Do not search "tfc" in advanced search. The most userful thing that shows up there can be found by doing a quick search for "camera."

:huh: Free camera is always painstakingly slow to me. I turn it on, press the forward key and if I had another hand I'd be making a sandwich to me before I'd reach the spot I wanted to reach.

The speed of the free camera depends on your FPS. The higher the FPS, the faster the camera. I'm not sure how well it works with FPS clamp, never tried. Try Oblivion Stutter Remover, you can set max FPS there. Thinking about it I have a feeling that it might work. I've set my max FPS to 55 and I've never had an ultra fast camera since then IIRC.

You can do this in the ini as well, but the ini tweak results in slow motion if your setup can handle more FPS than your clamp setting.

TFC also speeds up quite a bit if you get away from the detailed landscape and are over nothing but LOD terrain.

No, that is the third person camera smoothing plugin, very nice too. That was one of the mods I used early on...I may still use it too...I think I do, haha. I also used to use the Chase Camera mod, but the bashed patch tweaks have allowed me to drop a number of small game tweak mods here and there. The Chase Camera mod was in my load order when I was using one of the earlier versions of OOO, when the Oscuro homepage that still has the old 1.23 docs on it was the place to go. TFC is a console command, but is a mod that links the command to a hotkey...just saw it while looking for a mod to help with this...issue.

I agree. I use it all the time, but it is insanely tedious.
