Fallout 4 Announcement : Fallout Series Discussion

Does anyone know/remember how long after Oblivion had been released that we got an announcement of Fallout 3? I know when Fallout 3 was released, but does anyone remember when Bethesda released their first trailer/game play video/screen shots. If you can't tell I'm curious as to when we get out first word of Fallout 4. Any and all opinions/guesses welcome!

More than likey a year after Skyrim, as both games would essentionally be in competition with each other for the Christmas period and such; smaller profit if people can only buy one of the two.

I don't know it release date but it will either be snnpubed this year or tje next.

No it's a spinoff, Bethesda is probably going to make 4.

No it's a spinoff.

It's not a spin-off, it's simply another game in the Fallout franchise, that's canon.

it IS Canon, but isn't a follow up to 3 so is a "spin-off" (according to Bethesda). Next game will be Fallout 4 (unless they make another spinoff)

I can't wait i need more fallout the three dlc's isn't enough i can't help but be greedy when it comes to fallout i need expansion pack for NV or fallout 4 i mean dlc will take me to fall but after that it is a sad time until nov. skrim release sorry to be so greedy lol

well, fallout 3 was released 2 and half years later than oblivion, so i guess fallout 4 takes that time too. Even though maybe their own engine will speed up the process as they dont have to ask questions about engine(gamebryo) from another company who made the engine when they receive bugs and errors.

Yeah, NV is a follow-up to Fallout 1 and 2 instead.

I didn't say it wasn't canon, it's just not in the numerical order. I hope they announce Fallout 4 at packs.
