Mariposa Entry

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 9:51 am

I attacked the Super Mutants outside Mariposa and there wasn't a holotape to get the pass code off of. I'm kinda stuck now, any advice?

Did you find a radio on the Super Mutants? Should be able to talk with mutants inside.

To my memory, no they do not. It should be on the mutant at the back door.

You can also use the lockpick skill (and Electronic Lockpicks if you have them) to open the door.

Do you have an estimate on how high the skill?

Its quite high IIRC - it is the "Stealth Boy" entry option after all. Might be better to kill the master and come back with a level or two of skill points.

You can get electronic Lockpicks from a questline in the Hub.

Isn't the Master inside the base? And yeah I think I may just go and do that quest for the Thieves' Guild.

I'm sorry Mario, your princess is in another castle.

But you do have to go in there to win the game.

Spoiler

The followers can help you find the Master

Haha always laugh at that one. I know I have to destroy the vats of F.E.V and I know The Lieutenant is inside of Mariposa.

Use the Radio found on one of the mutants, and you might be able to use any old radio if you cant find one on the muties, I'm not sure though.

I tried using a radio I found on a Super Mutant patrol and I said "Ahhh I need help send backup!" and the Mutie on the other end said "Ok we're sending some reinforcements now" I stood there for awhile and nothing happened.

The only use for that radio is to draw away the mutant guards out front so only one is guarding the entrance.

The mutant in black is the one with the holotape with the code. If he was blown up you have to move the mouse around his corpse until a box outline shows. Whenever someone is blown up, their equipment gets dropped on the ground rather than it being in their corpses' container.
