Only time I've ever used it playing on the 360 or now on the PC is for Duplicating varla stones since I use magic weapons all most all the time. Well lately I've found that I can't duplicate the stones for some reason. I tried it on a few other items and it works fine. But for some reason my game doesn't like to duplicate Varla stones anymore.

I thought there was an update the killed the scroll duping glitch? I may be wrong though. Regardless, I have never used it anyways.

the glitch still works it just doesn't seem to work with some mod items.

The glitch was never fixed(at this time). However, it won't work with any scripted item like Nirnroot.

I used to use it on the xbox. Mainly for junk so I could decorate my house.

Wait, sorry but are you on the PC, I don't understand? If so why are you bothering to duplicate them when you can just add them to your inventory.

Using "player.additem (Varla stone ID) (amount).

There's something funny about Varla stones. I've never delved more into this, but not so long ago I was trying to decorate a house with a few of them and I could place the first two without any problems, but as soon as I dropped the third Varla stone one of the original two would disappear.

That's because I'm pretty new to playing on the PC and never new the command to duplicate.. But thanks now that I know I'll do that when ever I run low on varla stones.

question if an item has a code like 0000000A do I need to type all the zeros or just the A?

Other than to obtain money to buy a house at the beginning of the game I never use the dupe glitch.

How do I find out what an id number is for a mod item I want to duplicate? Reason I ask is because I was try to duplicate a repair hammer and I forgot what I had to type. When I hit the ~ key it gave me 5 digit thing. When I typed it in the console said it was wrong. Then when I went to the wiki page it gave me a different thing. So would clicking on the item give me the right code or not? I'm wondering if I probably clicked on the wrong thing.

I tried it on one of my characters and got a bit carried away. I regret doing it because it pretty much ruined that playthrough for me.

I was used to doing the dup glich with the arrows, but then I saw the scrolls.
I am having no problems duping Varla Stones, but I dont do that anymore for money.
I just dup some Strong Potions of Paralisis and then coat a weak weapon, stab DORIAN, and then loot him
while he's paralized and then loot this money continuously.
