By Oblivion thing, do you mean the Morrowind thing where they stuck crossbows and throwing weapons into marksman? Also, both Blade and Blunt are out, you really should pay attention. Third, a medieval weapons expert has already posted why axes and warhammers are more alike than maces and warhammers.
