Top right for Skyrim's Orc Armor.

That does look rather mongolian.

It would be cool if there were multiple styles to each of the armor types.

Hopefully someday we'll be able to travel to Akavir, though that would most likely be in an expansion pack. The folks from Tamriel wouldn't be very welcome there.

That would be great. There were rumors in Oblivion that the Nevarine went to Akavir, It'd be cool to see him/her, or just see what The Nervarine accomplished while he was there.

I noticed the strategically placed book on the legendary Frank Frazetta behind the artist. This is a good sign. :celebration:

There's some Asian influence on Redguard culture, as well. Frandar Hunding is clearly inspired by Musashi, and the Sword-Singers by Samurai. Yokuda even sounds Japanese.

I think the balance right now is just right. It just doesn't have sense to have a lot of chinese and japanese inspired stuff in a country that is inspired by scandanavia.

At the moment, I think the fact that much of it is not asian-inspired is sort of refreshing. There's a lot of Japanese influence in the gaming industry at the moment, and it's nice to see a primarily European influence in TES V (or so it appears from what we've seen so far).

Not that I'm against east asian influence, I'm a Japanese/East Asian Studies double major :P
