I just joined the Mage's Guild, and completed the first quest of retrieving Erthor from Black Feats Cave. But shortly before depositing him, I was suspended for stealing from the Mage's Guild :hubbahubba: . Resigned, I set out to find other quests before finding the 40 plants. But then, Erthor just keeps on following me, and I can't even tell him to wait anywhere. Now, when I try to break into people's houses and such, he's always there, staring at me, thus I get arrest very quickly. What should I do?!

If you are not on PC, this is what I would do:
- Study this: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Mages_Guild_Suspension
- Go get 20 of one of the ingredients you need (assuming this is your first guild suspension). The link can guide you to where you can quickly find them.
- Get reinstated in the guild.
- Return Erthor to the head of the Skingrad Guild.

If you are on PC, you can do the same thing or resolve it in several other ways using the command console.

Hmm, I've never had that happen... I've been kicked out before, but never during that quest... I guess the only thing to do would be to gather the required ingredients.... Both flowers you need are easily found in the Blackwood region of Cyrodiil, and also in the area south of the Imperial City. Good luck. Hope you can figure it out...
