Butch is a great character for roleplaying as a female Lone Wanderer's boyfriend. He's around the same age, she's known him her life (OK so he used to bully her, but it seems like they put all that behind and become something like friends later), he can be a recruitable companion, and he actually flirts with your character if you're female through dialog. Plus you gotta admit Butch is kind of cute with his sun tan and leather jacket.

Sure Butch is the weakest companion and can die easily, but he's still great to have for roleplaying a boyfriend for female characters. :)

I like Harkness personally. I always thought he was one of the best-looking characters. He seems quite dedicated to his job though... :sadvaultboy:

There is a mod? What does it do? Also, I would recommend Leo Stahl in Megaton! He is perfect for you character! He has a chem addiction too, but through the right diauloge options, he will try to stop the habit.
(which works) He is also a really friendly, good-looking, nice guy who seems to like helping people. (He owns a resturent too!) :celebration:

What's wrong with Harkness from Rivet City? Or how about Vance from the Family? Too creepy? There's also Doc Hoff who has a job. And Billy Creel comes with a house and daughter.

From what I remember Vance is with someone already, though the charismatic vampire is an obvious choice for a love interest (thinking Buffy and Angel, or the Twilight series)...

How about Elliot Tercorien from Mothership Zeta.

Hes polite, single and even shows some hints to an attraction (albeit to both sixes.) Not only does he sound discouraged when your leaving, but he's almost completely isolated up there, so that no one else can sink their claws into him. Combine that with how he's cleaner then any other wasteland resident (101 residents included) and seems like a decent father figure for Sally, and the three of you can make your own life there amongst the stars. Well three of you and Crazy Uncle Toshiro.

Playing yesterday and found Bittercup in Big Town. She's a bit obsessed with fashion and makeup and says you look like a serial killer, but then asks you if you're seeing anyone - a couple of issues there but she's an option....

Or the creepy guy who's trying to get it on with the girl who collects Nuka Cola merchandise. You'll have to forgive me, brain fog means I'm utterly rubbish with names.

Oh, and personally, I would so do 3dog, he was definitely hitting on my character and he keeps bigging her up on the radio, he wants me!

Shame that my bad karma character is a bloke, it would have been interesting to see how that panned out

Gob the Ghoul? He works in Moriarty's Saloon. Honest wage and line of work, decent-ish personality.

Drop him a line sometime!

http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10379. If you're a nice person he'll follow you anywhere :D

... And Billy Creel comes with a house and daughter.

I often play female characters and if there was ever the option my character would probably choose Billy Creel.
Crow is another one that would be suitable for my character. Maybe.

Ghouls? Ew. No. I don't like Charon for that very reason. I can't stand ghouls. I'm only nice to Gob for the slight raise in karma

I agree with the earlier comments about the game being more for male LW's. IMO in Vegas it's even worse. The few male prosttutes/dancers are all gay and the female ones are, well, female.
I think my character will just have to take up stalking as a hobby. Sure there are mods that do things that the game lacks but, still, again not much choice for female LW's, still towards the guys.
