..I'm glad to see someone giving the game attention--it seems like outside these forums Battlespire and Redguard are mostly forgotten..
I think there was just one unfortunate decision made in the creation of Battlespire that brought all this on: The use of the VESA-based video architecture at a time when Win98 was really taking hold. I was unfortunately unable to get B'Spire at release (well, 'scuse me.. Santa was unable to get it when I asked for it.. I didn't buy much in the way of entertainment media back then 'cause my income wasn't what it is now), and when I did, it was already unable to be run on my current PC without MAJOR flaming-hoop-jumping.
I have to say that now with the use of DOSBox, the only thing keeping me from trying it now is that I have been svcked back into Daggerfall so thoroughly..
In fact, on top of Battlespire, I REALLY need to get back to Terminator: Future Shock again.. That was the game that really put gamesas on my map.
