Large Issue

Hello,
Like my topic title suggests, I have a large problem with there being an over-abundance of "Goblin Trophies" in my game.
I know this item is added by Warcry, but my problem is: there are WAY too many showing up.

For example, I just started a new game, made my character, and went through the tutorial. On every goblin that I killed (regardless of type) there was a Goblin Trophy enchanted and worth around 3500 coins. While one Goblin Trophy may have been okay, and even a bit exciting, getting more than 10 feels like cheating,and I don't feel like accumulating a small fortune so soon. I don't know if other types of trophies show up on their respective enemies 100% of the time, as this is the first time I've played after my newest mod list.

Are there any problems you can see? I'm using OBSE version 18 beta 6, Wrye Bash latest version, as well as the latest BOSS version and masterlist (from the source website).

All wrye bash things are enabled where appropriate, except for OOO in Relations and Factions, as per I believe the Wrye Bash thread's advice.

Uncheck WarCry in the import actors section of the bashed patch. Wait three days two cells away from where you are to respawn everything after making the change.

Okay, I'll see if that works. Thanks!
Oh, and what should I do about the other mods in the import actors section? Leave them checked? Will doing so result in future problems?

Leave the other mods checked. That feature is relatively new, so some mods may not work perfectly with it, but do not bother unchecking anything unless you are sure you need to. I think I have heard about RGO having a bug with one of the new features, but I am not sure about that. Ren will hear of it if that is a real issue, anyway.

Not sure if this is what you're thinking of, but you need RGO check in Import Actors to buy the disguises added by the mod.

This may have been in. I only read through the latest RGO updates briefly. Unfortunately, I do not have a computer to actually try out the latest updates with. Thank you for clearing that up. Reneer releases updates fairly frequently, so I would not worry about it even if there were some issue.

Since you are using FCOM the solution is this..

Untag Warcry EV with Actors.DeathItem, rebuild patch, has FCOM Warcry change them from death drop to leveledlist instead..

This is causing the double up of items..

Now the cost is a different and we are looking at that for the next UFCOM Warcry Update has well.

TomLong update your Notes once again..

Untagging WarCry will prevent the double up of all trophies.

But FCOM_WarCry still has the problem of having the levelled list entry for GOBLIN trophies set to "Chance of none = 0", so the vast majority of Goblins will still have trophies.

Easy to fix if you want to edit FCOM _WarCry. Already fixed in test version. Easiest solution is to show some self control and not take Goblin Trophies till next FCOM release.

There is a general problem with Oblivion Warcry of Uniques, be it monsters or items, not being very unique. Personally I don't use OW, but play Diablo II occasionally instead. :P

I noticed this as well! At first I thought it was a way to help "noobs" to get some money in an early FCOM game, but it is actually a bug? I haven't fought that many Goblins outside tutorial, but I still have 9 of them stored away (only sold one for some quick starters money).

Mine was tagged as well with the import actors variable, but I will run some tests to see if it works. After waiting for a few days, will the item prices go down from this particular item as well?

If you want to fix it, you have to find the Levelled list for Goblin trophies in FCOM_Warcry and set the "chance of none" to at least 95. I prefer 97, myself.

Having finally managed a virtually crash-free FCOM install, I'm keen to chase down the remaining issues. And err... play the game, of course.
