Armour types

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 7:51 am

Ok so am I the only guy who wants to turn a recenty slain dragon, wolf, bear, or any other beatie into a suit of armour that says yea I killed now im wearing it. That combined with several armour slots makes for some interesting combos.

Oh and maybe it could be come more stream-lined or darker if your steathy or bulky and more protective if you more combat oriented.

Well, they have said that you will be able to forge weapons. Perhaps it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to make leather (wolf, bear, etc.) armor as well.

I just dig the idea of wearing a dragon skull as a chest piece and having that same dragons teeth and claws as weapons.

Yeah, because the return of medium armour would be so preferable to being able to craft your own from the spoils of combat.

Seriously? Morrowind wasn't the be all end all you know.

If you could forge actual dragon scale armor you would probably have the most powerful armor in the game. Because it is said that dragon's scales are as strong as diamonds.

In TES?

For all we know dragons might have been hyped up in the in game lore books and are actually cute and cuddly :3

I say nay to thee. As a D&D gamer and a GI subscriber I have found it evident that they are most definatly not cute and or cuddly... more bitey and fire breathing. Plus they look cool and therefore make cool armour.

Sorry about that.

Bitey and firey? No no no. That's their way of showing affection.

there are alot of things the tes series could take from the gothic series.
One of the things is smithing, you can forge your own blade and it added heaps to the feeling of the game so if its anything like that (but more in depth is okay as-well) it would be great.
