That's..... not worth my money. Over double the price (for PC players, at least) for postcards and a tin.

It's T rated in other areas.

It's M rated (which is 15+) by the Australian rating system, which means a step higher and it would be banned.

And I provided a link to their NZ site, showing the same thing.

Wait wait, so in AU if a game here is rated M then there it's basically is AO and then gets banned like Mortal Kombat an other games? o.O

Basically, if the AU ratings board decides it's going to be unsuitable for 15 year olds, there's no rating above the 15+ rating when it comes to games, so it gets banned.

Then shipping it to NZ becomes more complicated, because ALL our games get shipped via Australia, so occasionally they end up delaying things because of stupid Australian laws. And a few games have never made it here because of it.

A fellow South African!!!! Back on topic: The CE could have been much better, especially for its price! Postcards....really...

OMG!!! this is one of the few international sites that I saw some fellow South Africans

P.S. for the first SA man... 600 rand where do you shop cause I can get a PS3 version from BTgames for like 519 (just saying so that you don't spend more mony on something you could of gotten cheaper)

as for topic on hand... I don't think brink will really have a collectors cause com'n its like 5 weeks till release and they haven't announced anything official yet and the pre-order DLC will probaply be on PS store,Xboxlive, and maybe even places like steam or official websites for PC in like 2-5 months

Good point, usually people would want to pre-order collectors editions, why would they announce this now when a lot of people had already pre-ordered the normal version? Even BattleField 3 had announced the Limited Edition version, and I can't even pre-order it yet,

I find that such bs -.- makes me about as mad as seeing that interview on a popular uk show that was bashing violent video games an the host flat out said he preferred like a government censorship for things like that and one of the guests on his show that was agreeing with him was this actress saying like the same things but funny thing is she played as a voice actor for Mars 2 (a horror game).

So with the CE all you get is tattoos, postcards, and a metal case? Cause i know the doom pack comes with it if you pre-order any of the editions.

i wish i would pay $108 bucks for that crap.... i'm pretty sure that cant be right

Games sell for much higher in Australia compared to the US. When I was last there, GTA IV was just released and depending on the retailer... it (the regular edition) listed for between $89 - $120 (granted that was three years ago).

This steelcase pre-order bonus for Australia is not available in North America. I'll see if I can find out if it is available anywhere else in the world.

Update: Looks like Media Markt in Belgium will have them too.

seem like if you pre-order the game you will get the steel book edition

All that extra crap is so useless, lol. Ok well, I have to admit the DOOM pack and steel cover are nice to have, but tattoo and postcard sets? Really? I remember putting on those tattoos when I was 10

i want that steelbook. too bad they dont ship to the US. id be willing to buy the steelbook alone from any aussie thats up for it. maybe even a couple.

also, the accusations of 'fake!'. thats just silly. EBGames has been around quit a while, you dont really see in in the US anymore because they were bought out by [shock face] Gamestop. hence why they 'arent mentioned' in the announcements saying what locations have what preorders. the other reason would be that the announcements was for the US and UK retailers. ebgames.co.uk or ebgames.co.nz are neither US nor UK, so wouldnt have been listed anyways now would they.

I think that Bethesda made a special package for brick and mortar establishments because the prices aussies have to pay over there for a video game is [censored].

Glad to see the foregin countries (not US) getting something the US isn't. I'm so tired of them always saying the US gets everyhing, canadians seem to be especially goood at this. But now I have a game I can say, HA! America didn't get everything! We don't get the Special Edition and we don't get the Anger bandana.

To bad fo us but in the end I'm willing to take that hit if itll quiet down the other countries gripes.

Or you could point to Assassin's Creed 2 Black Edition.

Which was also release to AU/NZ.

Actually, it was released almost everywhere EXCEPT North America.

Pretty good for a studio based in Montreal.
