I recently installed MW GOTY on my laptop and have only added the MCP and UMP. When I use the movement keys, I get a delay in movement and then a delay before my character stops moving. Any ideas? I am also using FPS optimizer.

You might wanna give MGE a whirl, im no expert at all. But i do know it fixes input lag. And you can use MGE without increasing the graphics at all. In case your computer can't handle it. May as well use it if only for MWSE and of course the input lag fix

Do you have the input lag fix checked in MGE? It's off by default.

It is checked, but I found that a program was runnuing in the background which was hogging memory. Shut it down and laggies went away.

And what does this have to do with Morrowind mods? :spotted owl:

Might be the FPS optimizer, surely is because of neither MCP nor MGE.
