Rideable Cliffracers!

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 12:53 pm

They said there'd be a volcanic thundra area (thanks for the correction!), so wouldn't it be cool if this place was filled with angry and deadly cliffracers... here's my idea...

First there should be two ways of getting on one... (they should NEVER ever be sold at some ranch)
1. Climb up a large rock or cliff, and as the cliffracer charges JUMP... with the right skills, practice, and timing, you should be able to land on it...

2. Cast a command creature spell and force it to pick you up...

3. Jump from the Cliffracer your riding to a cliffracer below...

Either way they should not like you being on them and should try to throw you off, or stab you with their tail (of course not under the command spell though)... attacking other things would involve sliding down to the edge of a wing then pulling your %PCWeapon (for attacking creatures to the sides), standing up, then swinging your weapon (for attacking creatures above), and finally grabbing the "fin" and with all your might flip the beast(for attacking creatures below)... each attack should have a huge chance of you falling off... and every single move should have a small chance aswell...

Good, they can annoy you in Skyrim too but they won't be a mount, not now not ever!

Cliff Racer as a mount? I thought I'd heard it all.

What we need is a skinning option, so I can make Cliff Racer Armor. :]

Cliffracers couldn't carry you anyway. They're to small to hold up the massive weight of a human/elf/beast.

Disclaimer, the following is a joke. cliffracers belong in a fort basemant, stuffed, with a cutscene ring in their mouths.

I want them there with varieties of subraces, like a snowdriftracer! Attack music should be disabled so when you stop after a longday of running and look back, there is a horde following you, all too high for you to hit.

stealthracers should have chameleon 99% on them.

Stunracers shoudl drop stunning attacks on you from a safe distance, and do no harm, just stun you.

Haltracers are like normal cliffracers, but their cries sound like "halt!"

Bosracers should bombard you with creaming falling Bosmer mages with high pitch cries, just to reproduce a comic version of pearl harbor in riften.

Cross the sky standing on one of them? ... The latest humiliation for those poor animals ...? :lmao: No. But I think that just because of being poorly introduced in Morrowind, did not deserve such hatred. They might have been improved, making them more passive. However, in a world full of damn butterflies, like Oblivion, it would be rare to see them fly ...
