Install Oblivion to the Xbox 360 HDD?

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 1:26 pm

Hello again, forumers.
I was going to make another playthrough of Oblivion on my Xbox 360 starting today and I came to realize the option that I could install the game to my hard drive.
Does anyone have facts about what differences this actually makes on the game?
Every second off the loading screens counts :D

I would advise it as the load times are betterit runs a bit better and as other poster stated your xbox will be much quieter.

Besides as was stated before - that your Xbox will be quieter - I can't really say there are any pros or cons. I am currently playing through it again from my hard drive & can honestly say that the load times are no quicker whatsoever.

So do it, it can't hurt but don't expect any great advancement in load times.

I did it, and it's helped. Xbox is definitely quieter.

It's not a mandatory thing on 360s? Well, in my opinion, it should be mandatory for all games. Definitely go for it. It can only improve your gaming experience.

I have done this before but I had to delete the installation due to low GB on my HDD. If you have a lot of room I would recommend it. The Xbox is quiet and it loads a bit faster but man that Xbox was quiet.
