Xbox and Wii don't have Blue rays. In fact you can't even watch DVD on a Wii, but you can on the 360. The 360 did have an HD add on which was a joke after the fact. If the original 360 had
the built in HD player, then Sony may have lost the Blueray player wars, but Microsoft rushed the 360 out before it was ready.

You want a joke of a movie on BD? Go watch Underworld 3 Rise of the Lycans. Me and my wife was so looking forward to this movie since we loved the other 2, and spen the extram money
because of BD, but were so disapointed we only watched 1/2 the movie. Never did finish watching it because of the disapointement of BD for that movie.

DVD is perfectly fine really, sad how there is no more bonus stuff on it anymore just to fleace us out of our money.

So do we, for the most part. I have a small LCD HDTV, the two others are big and heavy CRT's. The other computer also has a CRT monitor. Fitting, since the rest of it is from the last century too :hehe:

I dont use/own a Blu-Ray Drive. I prefer streaming all my content in HD. It works fine for me.

Well Netflix doesn't have every movie to stream and if you're paying $30 for a Blu-Ray now n days you're getting jipped. You can usually pick them up for $20 and under that if you find some really good deals. ID4 and League of Extra. Gentlemen were $10 each on blu-ray. Got LOTR for $15 each copy, The Mummy for $12, the sequel for $14. Also got day after tomorrow for $10. Either through Amazon or Wal-Mart. Best Buy has some good deals every now and then. A few weeks ago they had a $10 selection with 4-5 different movies on it, one of them being Dumb and Dumber..didn't get it then but found it for $10 on Amazon. Even the bundles are cheaper..Die Hard 4 disc set is only $35..usually they start off at $70. So that $30 thing, is a thing of the past for the most part. For new movies I even see deals in the $15-20 range.

Amazon has a decent sale on Blu-ray movies right now in fact. Just ordered Inception ($13), Toy Story 3 ($13), FLCL ($25) and the Back to the Future trilogy ($40). Not too shabby.

Just noticed that Babylon 5 is on their Blu Ray page.. I wonder when that will happen.

I just got a PS3 a couple days ago and it included an Alice in Wonderland BD. My first BD, watched and owned. I love HD and BD's bring it so yeah, it lives up to that hype.

I don't see the need to charge more for them than their DVD counterparts however. (Getting much better now than when they were new though that's for sure.)

To me, it means I can't watch certain movies on my dvd player.
