Anyone have experience with an HTC Touch Pro 2

So I'm buying one of these soon and first of all, anyone have any experience with it?

Also I've always wanted an Android phone and apparently thanks to http://xdandroid.com/wiki/Main_Page I could achieve this. But I'm wondering if its a good conversion at all, or if it's even worth the switch? Thanks in advance for any help

I'm unfamiliar with the conversion process, but Touch Pro 2 is a very old phone, and if you want to use an Android phone, might as well buy a newer phone. Even if you want to get an old phone because of your budget, at least get an old Android phone which would be easier to upgrade to newer version. FYI, my personal peeve against Touch Pro 2 is because it's using a resistive screen.

Well I can get one for cheap, and age isnt too bad for me, I have a Samsung Exclaim right now so any improvement is an improvement, I'm bascially looking for a touch screen with a keyboard, I know there are many like it, but prices range ridiculously.

I got one for free some time ago. I haven't gotten around switching to Android yet, so I'm still running Windows Mobile daily. I did install Android a month ago. It has a loader, which unloads WM and loads Android in the main memory. It's faster and more responsive than WM, at least that's my first experience. Android works fine as far as I can tell.

I'm rather disappointed by the camera, and the GPS is horrible on WM (I doubt it's better on Android). The keyboard is nice and the screen is ok. The phone works fine for me, but I don't have a lot of experience with different phones. Is there anything specific you'd like to know? Maybe take this to PMs?
