Overrated: Black Ops (What a [censored] game)

For sure. I don't like Activision or their COD franchise.

I think they did give RDR GOTY out of pitty for Black Ops dominating the video game scene.

Street Fighter 4 won Fighter of the year in 2009 and Super Street Fighter 4 won fighter of the year for 2010, and they're both exact same games. Just like how Black Ops and MW2 are the exact same games, jsut repolished..

(I checked VGA) Other place did the same, sf4 2009, and ssf4 for 2010.

If by dominating you mean it won character of te year somehow then yeah, RDR won best music, best game.
But I cant use logic here considering you think reskins are worth $40 and are the one of the best things to happen in gaming.

Overrated

Battlefield Bad Company 2-So many people here love it saying its much better than COD.THe campaign was great and by far btter than most COD story lines.Online though its the same forumla as every BF game.Far to slow pace and people seem more intrested in messing around than actually playing.

BFBC2 is amazing because it has tactics envovlved, a sniper killed me camping in a house, I blew the entire building up. We were protecting a charge, I was medic reviving everyone, another time we had 3 engineers buffing one tank, other times you can steal their helicopter and get an engineer to repair it inside while flying.

BF has tactics, its guns are more real (snipers aim hight drop over time) its much more balenced, ever seen a guy run around the place using only a knife or QSing no that dosent happen, the only thing people have issues with is the shotguns rangge, but that dosent matter, its a big open map, thier problem, though it is glitchy as I can sometimes snipe with a shotgun and then do 0 damage close range, but its great. If it had a forge like halo, and a few more game types (infection and grifball ftw) it would be amazing. And now we have jets and even more destructive environments.

Overrated: Halo Reach. Game svcked in my opinion.

Underrated: Final Fantasy 13. Game is great. Don't get me started on GAME IS SO LINEAR LOLZ, or OMG WTF AUTOBATTLE PRESS A TO WIN GAME IS SO EASY. If you're winning by only using autobattle, you've never made it to the later chapters that require strategy. Linearity isn't as horrible as people make it out to be. FFX was linear yet people didn't complain nearly as much as they did about FF13.

Perhaps because FFX is considerably longer than FFXIII. Also FFX is from a different gaming generation where linear traveling wasn't as overused as it is now..

I never understood what was so wrong with how Activision did their Call of Duty games. Yes, once a year releases are a bit much for non-sports games, but seeing as how a shooter is the same gameplay, shooting people, how can you POSSIBLY change the gameplay enough while making it seem different, while keeping the staples of your series and not becoming, say, a Battlefield game of a Medal of Honor game?

Overrated-
Black Ops. Felt exactly the same to MW2 and that felt exactly the same to MW

Underrated-
Monster Hunter Tri. Anyone who wants a hard game for the Wii should get this, yet the series of games gets critisized for a lack of a lock-on button by reviewers.
Dissidia: Final Fantasy. Brilliant fighting game for the PSP that even fighting game noobs (like me) can play well.

It certianly can be more realistic but its just not my taste really, I will give it another try eventually but the online part of BF games have never suited me.

Add new features, halo added forge and lots of new game types.

They dont change or improve or innovate, just the same crap thats the problem, and its not just CoD activision milks anything, then bleeds it.
