Wheel of Time

Who else is excited? I gave up on WoT after book seven but started again when Sanderson took the reins, (and knew exactly what was going on) I applaud his decision to dis-braid Nynaeve and Jordans storyline is actually moving forward again. Who else is excited about Jordans series closing shut after almost 30 years?

Excellent series. Mr. Jordan was a little long winded at times but I did enjoy all the books.

I really liked Sanderson's writing in the last book and a half, and am looking forward to the finale.

I know I am probably in the minority here but I think these books were just as good as LOTR. I have tried other fantasy series also, currently sludging through Erikson's Deadhouse Gates, and I am not as svcked in as I was with TWOT.

I don't. One of the main reasons is the pacing in some of the books.

The other flaw is the time gap between each release, each time one new book came out, I wondered just what the heck happened in the previous book, and the length of it deters me from re-reading it.

The other flaw is that when Jordan found out he was dying, instead of finishing the series off, he released a prequel :(

I tried to read the first book. I really did, but why does it have to be SOOOOOOOO LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.

It borders on the obnoxious at times. Like the above, but otherwise he's a good writer. Someday I hope to finish the whole series, but I'll probably be nearing my deathbed as an old man by then.

Long winded but I like them. Honestly as long as its getting somewhere I dont mind if it takes a while, I like lots of stuff to read.

More looking forward to reading Crippled God myself, but I dont want to do that until I reread the rest of them so Im putting it off at the moment lol.

Reminds me of the way I felt when I tried reading Tolstoy's War and Peace.

That's what bothered me with this kind of long. It didn't feel like I was getting anywhere.

The second and third books are better then the sixth and ninth ones and then the last two (so far), the rest didn't really add anything

The second or third book (whichever was named The Dragon Reborn) was my favourite.
