What platform? : V - Skyrim

I would get it for PC, but mine's a little outdated and I'm not in the position financially to upgrade it again, so I'll probably end up getting it for Xbox/PS3

Aiming for the PC, depending on the specs. Following the current expectations of said specs, all I probably need to do is upgrade my CPU.

the people who say PC (I am xbox 360), do you play on desktop or a laptop?

I wouldnt mind playing on the pc, but I hate bulky desktop computers, I mean society has moved on now. Even at work nobody has a desktop hardly.

Would it run well on a really good laptop? alienware or something??

Society hasn't moved on. Laptops are rarely, if ever as powerful as a desktop.

I played Oblivion on a laptop. It was a Toshiba and it ran nicely. Now, though, I have a desktop again. A nice large http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/product.php?category_id=18&product_id=2988 that sits next to my desk out of the way. I can run it faster and hotter than I ever could have run my laptop.
