Lothavor's Legacy Glitch?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 9:28 pm

I don't know what's going on with this. My character goes to sleep, and I get the message, "You have a strange dream. . ." and then nothing happens. I just have a magenta screen. I don't think it can be a mod conflict, because I've played this all the way through with the same mods installed.

Is there a way to get past this?

What other mods do you have installed? LGNPC perhaps?

Yeah, please post your modlist (bottom of morrowind.ini) and the contents of your warnings.txt (same folder as morrowind.ini)

I never had that problem. I never finished the entire mod either, but that was mostly because once I got near the end of the quest line I couldn't stand the stop and pause lag that the mod causes for some odd reason when your outside. I assume its some sort of a scripting issue.

I can put up my mod list, but the thing is that I have played the entire mod through with exactly the same mods I have now--I've done it twice, actually--and I don't see how a mod could be not in conflict for two playthroughs and suddenly throw up interference.

Perhaps your savegame became corrupt somehow?

Were you using Galsiah character development mod?

No, I had another leveling mod, but I disabled it before starting this, so it shouldn't have been a problem.

Unless you've played the exact same way for the last two games that you play now, then there is of course that option. It may not necessarily be a conflict either. Only way to get any help is to post your modlist though.

This is weird.
Today it did work. Then later, with the later dream, I had the same problem, but when I reloaded a save it worked fine.
