Will the Pre-Order weapons in the Psycho and Spec-Ops packs be unlockable for everyone meaning that the Pre-Order codes just give them to the player right at the start or are they fully exclusive and the only way to get them through the Pre-Order code?

They're preorder exclusive as of now. There's a possibility it will be made downloadable in the future, though. I really hope so, as I ended up going with the Spec-Ops pack just because I prefer Steam over the alternatives but I really do want the Fallout clothing.

oh nice topic. havent heard anything on this. i hope we could unlock them because its not like you can preorder the game from every store to get everything. and i want everything.

Pretty sure the exclusives are actually exclusive, not unlockables.

I'm hoping for them to come out as purchasable DLC later, even though I plan to pre-order and don't actually care for any of what I'm not getting - it's just nice to give the pre-order customers their little freebie, then let other players get their hands on the goods further down the track.

Official answer is that they "have no plans" to release the pre-order stuff later - doesn't rule out the possibility of plans changing later, of course, but that's all they're saying, so it's as good as no word.

Pretty much this, ill love having a bag on my head for probably around 1 day then wanna try something else, the soda can silencer on the otherhand i will probably use every chance i get. Instead of making a DLC later it would be cool if they released a collector's edition with all pre order bonuses, i would pay $80 for that sadly lol.

Well thats just it, I'm not bothered about the clothes that come with the Pre-Order pack as I know there will be HUNDREDS to choose from anyway, my main focus was the guns.

I chose the Psycho pack because I prefer the Revolver to the Machine Pistol but was wondering if you could unlock the other weapon after the games release through the level up system. If it is possible then I will change my Pre-Order to Game because in the EU they give out the DOOM pack in addition to the Spec-Ops pack.

Honestly I hope there are never unlockable through any other means then pre-ordering. takes all the fun out of pre-ordering and insentive to. Thats what Happened when I went after the "Woods" Avatar suit for Blackops. I couldn't find a hardedned copy anywhere so I had to hunt it down on ebay. Cost me 13 bucks when they were going for 40 9it was a nice reasonable guy)

Anyway, now you can buy them for a few hundred MS points. Its boogus. Mine still feels special but thats only cus I put the work in to get it.

Sure preordering doesn't take work but picking one over the other takes sacrifise and I like that weight. Plus, when people see you sporting that gear it holds you to a certain level of "thats sweet looking".

Keep exclusive, exclusive.

Yeah, it sounds like they will be exclusive, but don't worry, the game will include a stock revolver and automatic pistol, as well as silencers and sights. How these will to the pre-order items will remain to be seen, of course.
