Dragon Mounts?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 9:49 pm

TES dragons are more like D&D dragons than Dragon Age dragons. They aren't godly powerful, they can communicate with and even fight alongside people, and they are intelligent. Having a dragon mount makes artistic sense. Technically it would take some management to say the least. I would like to see it just for the sake of dog fights especially if there are other flying beast.

Let′s just go all the way and ride aedra and daedra. I want to sit on the shoulders of Molag Bal and whip him into submission and then I want to take a spin on Kynareths shoulders while I drool into her hair, maybe go with Arkay and let him stand in a grave.

Since we are removing any and all limits I don′t see anything wrong with that.

*mumble* *mumble*

Dragons may have helped before but I bet they were not helping someone who was happily going around slaughtering their kin with no mercy.

A dragon mount as the ultimate reward would be nice. Something even harder than the main quest should give you a flying dragon mount (an Dragon that doesn't level scale or something). you should have to be a high level like 50 and have beaten the main quest to get it

heres a thread that discusses this kind of challenge.

Can't these threads die?
Honestly if Dragon mounts are in I'd really have to doubt Bethesda's ability to make unique games. :flame:

you have to leave your preconceived notions about dragon mounts at the door.

Dragon mounts shouldn't be in the game because people want it, or because another popular game has it
but dragon mounts shouldn't be EXCLUDED just because another popular game has them either. It just has to fit.

I'm a lil worried about the idea of summoning a dragon, dragon mounts would sorta ruin it for me. I don't think anything as epic and big should ever be under your command.

i have to agree on you with this one.. the epicness of oblivion was just too much..

Love the Dragons but not the thought of a Dragon Mount.

Lets also give our Character crimson eyes and a crooning black runeblade called Stormbringer.. :ermm:

Yes, I'm sooooooo tired of flying dragons and having dragons that aren't "EVILllllllllll1" in rpgs, that is so cliche.....oh wait.

What rpgs do you play where you can fly around on dragons? Cause I'd like to play that. Aside from Draken (old action/adventure game) and the recent Divinity 2 rpg (which you don't actually ride a dragon) where are you getting this? Cause it seems about as unique as any rpg recently that I can think up.
