Is there any way I can link a self spell to a staff? I want it to cast the Mdas Statis Field spell, but I still dont know how to script.
Obviousley, staves only work with an enchant on them. The spell takes magicka rather than enchant power though, and I want the spell to be casted when the staff is casted.

A Staff can only cast an "on Target" spell. But if I'm reading between the lines correctly, the staff is irrelevant to your requirement, which is a spell that you can cast without using your magicka pool, by using up soul gems. Try asking in Mod Detectives if that has already been done, as it seems familiar.
