The thing you see in the sky is just a visualization of your abilities, and "the thief, the warrior, and the mage" are just categories the skills are sorted by. And the characters are not so same at the beginning, races are still different

That's another thing. The question of attributes has indeed not been mentioned, which I find worrying in itself : they have mentioned everything else the menu can access - why not attributes ?
And if they are no attributes, how are the races different ? No bonus minus for races anymore.
