Skill Question

My question is does your skill level in certain skills determine your power with them? What I mean is does a 5 in blade or blunt do as much damage as say 50 just doesnt have the power attacks? Basically is it only your strength that determines your attack power?

Yes.

The guy with the 50 skill will do more damage with the same weapon than a guy with 5 skill.

i think its like 80% skill 20% attribute, so yes your skill counts for much more than your attribute

Your skill level with blade is actually more important in determining your blade damage than the attribute of strength.

By quite a bit, actually: Damage = BaseWeaponDamage * 0.5 * ( 0.75 + Strength * 0.005 ) * ( 0.2 + BladeSkill * 0.015 )

Edit: Ninja'd. :)
