character speed

personally, i think that oblivion had many flaws.(although no matter what anybody says its still a great TES game.)and one of thoughs flaws was how fast you could make you character move.which in my opinion, espacially when you started to reach end game your character moved much to fast.what do you think?

Well, the ability to reach high speed was obligatory, actually. Try fighting an Ogre in light armor with a dagger without running around to dodge it's attacks. You'll be screwed :violin: . It was the saving grace of players who played the rogue archetype.

Once you level up your speed in Morrowind you are very fast.
But starting a new game you feel the game is infuriatingly slow.

As part of the game mechanics (considering there is no proper horse combat or Wizard Teleportation anymore), every character is going to have high speed by the end of the game. And with every skill/stat maxing out a 100 for every race there is only going to be a large difference between the races' speeds at the start of the game.

I would prefer if every character had the same top speed, but someone carrying lots of equipment (if they have low strength) to be affected by reduced speed and reduced acceleration and directional movement.
