Want to put together a few mods...

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 1:15 pm

I want to put together a bunch of pose mods...I have about 20 different ones. I want to reduce them all into one mod (i.e. so that I don't have 20 .esps and can just have one).

Can I post here for advice on how to put these together? Are there instructions somewhere on such a thing? Or do I need to go to one of the modders forums to ask this? Thanks.

Try merging, but it is likely there will be many EDID conflicts. The best way to try to merge pose mods is with TES4Edit, but you will still probably have to thrown and "X" or two at the end of the overlapping IDs.

OK I was thinking I'd have to try with TES4Edit but not sure about the overlapping ids thing. I'll test it out and post back with specific questions I guess. Thanks.

EDID = Editor IDs From the few pose mods I have used, CT seems to be a popular prefix. If you really managed to grab 20 unrelated plugins, you can just merge with TES4Gecko. Otherwise, stick to TES4Edit.
