well i just saw a video on IGN saying that Kinect will get mods from pc and also that pc modders will be given access instead of hacking. fyi Kinect is a part of Microsoft and am not so sure if you need a 360 to use kinect anyways the most important thing i heard was Microsoft PC and Mods. with that being said does anyone know how to put a link cuz i don't. the website i saw it on is called IGN daily fix

How is the Kinect able to download mods?

I can understand Kinect-PC functionality, but how does that let you DL mods? Doesn't make sense.

You misunderstood the video, dude. People will be able to mod the Kinect, not their Xbox games.

PC remains your one and only source for modding excellence. B)

I think you're in the wrong forum, maybe even the wrong website.

This makes no sense:

1. Microsoft and PC are already friendly. Most PCs ship with MS's OS.

2. The Kinect already has very functioning drivers for the PC developed by third-parties

3. Really, the only thing MS can do is release the API, which they aren't doing.

Looking at Wikipedia, all they are doing is releasing an SDK for non-commercial use only and for games only. The current drivers are probably going to be better than that since they can be used in commercial use AND can be used to use a Kinect to control any aspect of your OS, granted it would require more skill than using an SDK to implement, the documentation is fairly fleshed out.
