Need plugins that improve Oblivion graphic quality

Post » Sun Aug 08, 2010 10:17 pm

Hello everyone,

I have QTP3R , and LOD plugins which make my game's quality better.

I ask you for another plugins or texture packs that improve the Oblivion graphic quality.

I have a plugin that improve Lava, Trees and Flora , Doors , Wood Signs , bootles , weapon ,weather , water and sunglare, better grass :D

Have you heard of anything else mayby?

I have Koldorns texture pack to and Unique Landscapes all texture pack installed.

I know that editing lines in Oblivion.ini may improve the graphic quality but i dont want to have great stutter and lag - i.e 10 FPS as i have not long time ago....when i edited the grass and trees LOD ...

But i have awesome performance plugins such Streamline that helped me much.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

By the way have you heard of plugin that require the player to feed horse ? Interesting thing i think ;D

Need of eating and drinking is included in several plugins ( and sleeping to ) - i wonder if horse eats to :D:D

May be interesting to feed you horse and he will drink the water for river or lake ,heh ,someone should create such mod for sure ,dont you thinks so??
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I wonder why the gards are not fighting from the horse as the player (Deadly Reflex 4 ) instead they sitting off and fight - lol such a stupid thing....
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It is strange that you couldnt wear or buy a hauberk (type of armor ) typical medieval age armor.

You have all 100+ visual enhancements in that list? What in the world are you still looking for then? That covers most of the game, and I am only planning to add 20 more to cover some of the rest of it.

The instructions are at the top. Just tag the ID onto the end of that string in place of "". I type fileIDs instead of using links or searching all of the time. Its the quickest way to go, click on a random mod and write over the ID numbers...

Edit: You do not type the numbers into the search engine. You are simply reconstructing the pages URL. Stick the string into your address bar.

Edit: Everything from #398 to #698 is a graphical enhancement, excepting the PyFFI-Optimization packages I have created...There should be plenty to browse. Also, that list is also the installation order, so if you are not using BAIN (in which you could simply organize the packages that way) that is the order in which you would activate the OMODs in OBMM.

I presume you are already using the various Oblivion Graphics EXtender plugins? If not, you should look into it. They have several plugins which add new graphic effects to the game, such as 'god ray' lighting in exteriors.

There are plenty of those in "My BAIN Package List." I have BTQ landscape textures, Shaja's landscape textures, and a third pack too.

#597, #598, #590, #591, #586, #585, #580, #581, #539... Did you even check out the links to the other threads that discussed these texture replacers? There are a couple of links on that "Aesthetic Overhauling" page. I have at least half of the mentioned mods in that list, but you will have to shop around to look at the ones you like. We cannot pick for you. Only your eyes can decide this one.

In case you find it helpful, here is a list of esp-less texture replacers I'm currently running and my notes for which order I installed things. This doesn't include texture replacers that have a plugin associated with them, which would include some other things I'm running.

I've found these definitely help improve the game graphics. Note you could use the higher definition LOD textures if you want. I actually opted for the 2048 vs 4096 textures just because I thought I didn't want things in the distance to be quite that sharp. I keep this in a Word document in outline form, and the forum doesn't retain the tab stops, but I think you should be able to tell from numbering what is associated with each step.

Copied my post over:

You have already made a thread for this: Need plugins that improve Oblivion graphic quality. If you want more than what has been posted there, seriously do some of your own searching because apparently the exhaustive searches other people have done are not enough. You request is really general, and since I think that other have pointed out much of the best of what is out there, you need to exhaust the possibilities with your own eyes.

That is true, but other sites do not have all of the search options that TESNexus has, not to mention the extensive mod database it hosts... I am a neat freak, so I appreciate the sort options. ;)
