Better Bodies Dagoth Ur?

Well, the same treatment given to the original NPCs and their animation could be given to the Dagoth Ur animation. Just build the body and meshes around the animation instead of trying to do it the hard way by redoing the animation on the BB meshes.


I tried this. Blender crashes when you try to import Dagoth Ur with animation.

I'm sorry. It's just that after reading all the posts of how difficult making a Better Bodies Dagoth Ur is, I couldn't resist. :blush:

Have you tried it with a recent version of Blender? Have you tried opening it in another program and re-saving it? Maybe Nifscope or something? You could ask someone over at the Niftools group if there's something weird with Dagoth Ur's mesh/animation. There's got to be a way around that. Maybe something that's not right with the mesh/animation can be fixed within Nifscope. Have you opened Dagoth Ur in Nifscope and comparing it to a normal animated mesh to see if there's something out of the ordinary?
