What I'm most excited for...

...is the dev tools. The developers surely realizes the importance of mod & modding support in its products success and (much more so) longevity. So, given that, I have to say, I am totally stoked. If it's a new engine, what's going to be possible? Will they be easier? Harder? I don't know but if they're anywhere near as good as what we've seen with their previous games, modding for Skyrim is gonna' be a blast!

I hope they finally let us mod skills, also I hope that they can figure out a way to make talking creatures, one thing I loved about Morrowind The mudcrab Merchant

Agreed with the modding tools. I can't wait to see what Japan modders make this time around :]

It is just a bit harder cus you have to go through more folders. But I can perfectly mod FNV and use utilities like script extender and mod manager.

Given all this time they've had to work on the engine I hope that the construction set is even more simple now.

They have/had a G.E.C.K. type thing for the ES Titles?

Simpler please. All the work arounds and 3rd party tools made me give it up altogether in the end with oblivion.

The GECK is just a repackaged TES Construction Set. ;)

edit: and improved for the various games, etc. I just meant that TES had it first. Look at the file extensions: .esm and .esp. One guess as to what the es stands for. :P
