TES V Game Engine

I know it's too late to change what they've already been doing, but I think it would be absolutely AMAZING if TES V used the Project Offset game engine. I don't know if this would be a great open-world engine, but the graphics would be absolutely stunning if gamesas could pull it off.
Here's a video of Project Offset for those who don't know what that is.

I think we should see the engine TESV is running on first before we start suggesting better engines.

I haven't watched the video, but from what you said, I'd rather they used an engine that favors an open world rather than one that favors graphics.

I don't know if it can be open world or not, but it just seems to me that for the graphics to be that good that it would limit the game. I am a true believer in gameplay > graphics. I just wouldn't mind amazing gameplay AND great graphics in one, beautiful open world package.

I too believe we should see the engine they're using before I jump the gun and say what they "should" do. However, I'm super hyped and hope for the best. I think no matter what they use I will be greatly pleased.

There never was a finished game engine. Source: http://news.bigdownload.com/2010/07/01/project-offset-officially-shut-down-at-intel-founders-launches/

Project Offset was canceled months ago and the engine was built to support a technology which was canceled, I don't see anyone using this engine in the future unless it's ripped up and put back together.

There are other active threads about the engine, please use one of them.
