Your first TES V character

Mage. The most fun way to test out a new game is when your character is in danger through the entire time

Uhh, why is it the most fun when testing out a game to be in danger all the time, and why would a mage be the perfect choice for that? Both of those claims seem pretty far-fetched to me!

For most of my characters, I tend to take the character of Vlad Taltos (from the novels by Steven Brust), who really is pretty versatile - sometimes he acts selfishly, other times he's a good guy, other times he's just a cynic. Allows me to take any quest without breaking my character - as long as I can find a reason why the character should do this.

I'm not sure about the race, but if the game starts like TES II or TES III (i.e., you being sent off from Cyrodiil to the region that's causing trouble), I'll most probably play an Imperial. If that isn't the case, I'll most likely start as (one of the) race(s) that inhabit the region - unless it's Skyrim because I'm really not that good at playing Nords.

My character's class will be something like Agent or Nightblade - knows a few magical tricks and uses enchanted weaponry, but mostly relies on stealth.

Same as it always is, a Breton Battlemage, in my opinion, the best class TES has to offer. I think it will help me get the best out of the game the first time around.

A ranger. It's always a ranger. If they somehow get Dwemer to come back to life (yeah right) it would be one of them.

I'm going to study the manual left and right to get a look at features/skills while the game install and I'm going to look online at gameplay videos.
I WILL weild blades for sure. I WILL be a hero. I might be Argonian or Nord.
I will follow the main quest right away but stop at every dungeon along the way.
If there is going to be werewolves or any were-creature I will find out the quickest way I can become one.
I might join the fighters guild mid-main quest.
I may have alchemy, depends on what system is in place.

Redgaurd Melee type who's skilled in stealth. His sign will be The Lord so that he may heal himself without worrying about magic skills.

He'll carry a shield in his (right, if we can choose our characters main/off hands in TES:V) hand a sword in his other hand. He'll wear Light armors that don't restrict his agility or wear him down, with his shield being his primary defense.

He'll prefer to get the jump on his enemy, sneaking behind them (or in front of them, if he feels a little cocky) and strike them hard, greatly wounding them if not killing them. From that point he Blocks every attack and dodges every spell. If his opponent, or the opponent's allies come to aid him and attack from behind he'll simply dodge their attack and cartwheel out from the center of the fray

He'll only attack once his opponent gives him the opportunity, and he'll never give his opponent the opportunity to attack.

I could picture a tribal dressed argonian with a spear, that fits.

After a pure-stealth bosmer, I will probably do a mage of some sort (and play around with some other characters)
