Creating new weather

Hey everybody, I've got a custom worldspace I'm working on that I would like to have a slightly different weather pattern then the regular wasteland. I copied just one of the basic NV weather's and made a few changes. Looks good mostly, however there are a couple issues I can't quite figure out.

One, at noon, the clouds are black, just the lowest layer of clouds. I can't for the life of me figure out why. I've gone through the weather tab and changed the color for high noon to relatively light colors for every tab, ambient to sun. Is there anything else that would effect the coloring for this? My second issue may be tied to the first, not sure, but the times immediately before and after high noon are extremely bright in the distance, I would think either the ambient or the fog layer? But again neither of those are even close to being pure white which is what it's practically showing up as.

Here's a pic of the weather at noon. http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j166/Zhemoc/ScreenShot0.jpg

Did you check the color for each Cloud Layer? (Layers 0 through 3, under "Cloud Textures.")

As for the bright distance, try changing the colors to distinct colors to see which one is too bright. (As in green for Fog, red for Horizon, black for Sky-Lower, etc.) It might also be related to the ImageSpace Modifier at that time.
