Wrye Bash Installers Directory?

Post » Sun Aug 15, 2010 8:59 pm

I'm trying to install Refscope. The instructions say "If using Wrye Bash version 231 or later, copy the .zip file into your Bash Installers folder, then right-click on it in Bash's package list and choose "Install" from the menu."

I copied the .zip into the Games/Oblivion Mods/Bash Installers directory (Oblivion Mods is at the same level as the Oblivion folder). However, when I look into Wrye Bash under the Installers tab, nothing shows up under the Package area.

What am I doing wrong?

You only need to do that if you are using BAIN. Are you using the latest version of Wrye Bash?

Yes I am using the latest.

So I'll just install using OBMM the regular way. :) Just trying to learn these tools. Thought I'd try to load it the WB way.

Thanks.

Yes. You only need to use BAIN if you are actually using BAIN. It is really simple to write OBMM scripts for mods in BAIN-ready format (if you need to do that) because "BAIN-ready" ensure that it is packages nicely.
