Double Textures with STEAM Oblivion?

Post » Mon Aug 16, 2010 1:27 pm

It's hard to describe so i've included links to a couple of screenies showing the problem.

Basically, after installing QTP3 and running OBMM's archive invalidation, the vanilla textures are still present with QTP3's textures being overlaid at what looks like ~25% opacity as well. Rather than replacing the textures, the game seems to be trying to display them both...

Any idea why this is happening? This is with the STEAM version of Oblivion, not the dvd, but every other mod including OBSE mods run without a hitch.

Thanks for reading ^_^

Is that textures or normal maps?

At any rate, try resetting the BSA timestamps, either with OBMM's built-in option, or by downloading a file date changer and setting them to Jan. 2006
