What do they mean by Decals? tattoos? and how would they work? discuss!

My guess is putting emblems on your armour...

Probably there's some kind of reputation system like in fallout new vegas. And when you get "liked" enough you can wear the clan's color/emblem.

maybe clan emblems, as broaches, tabards, or something.

Decals are a term used for certain grahic effects.. you have seen it before as blood is done with decals. Most likely you can get various things added to your body via decals.

1. Unlikely you can design your own, although you can probably mod them in. I suspect it would be more taking existing emblems and laying them over something else. So this is not necessarily a PC only thing.

2. There's zero indication this would resemble the reputation/disguise system from F:NV. It was revealed as an aspect of character customisation and there is nothing to indicate it is anything beyond that at this time.

Decals is a very generic term. In Oblivion there were Blood Decals, just the effect of blood spatters. They did explicitly state tattoos and facepaint though.

Highly doubt that. Most likely you'll pick a decal out of a set they already give you.

I like dark elves but I will only play as one if they fix them to more like in Morrowind. I don't mean coopy Morrowind in everything but I do mean I want them to be very cool raspy elves not blushish blackish skined red eyed humans like in oblivion.

But on topic I can compleatly agree with you I would love to have tatoos (removable with a spell) on my dunmer hunter/rogue guy.
